BAM-15
BAM-15 is an experimental mitochondrial protonophore/uncoupler. Preclinical research has examined its effects on mitochondrial membrane potential, proton conductance, oxygen consumption, oxidative phosphorylation efficiency, and cellular bioenergetics. Uncoupling mitochondrial respiration can substantially alter cellular energy balance, making experimental conditions and appropriate controls particularly important.
SLU-PP-332
SLU-PP-332 is an experimental small molecule investigated as an agonist of estrogen-related receptors (ERRs). Preclinical research has examined ERR-mediated transcriptional programs associated with oxidative metabolism, mitochondrial function, and cellular energetic adaptation. Available evidence remains predominantly preclinical and should not be interpreted as establishing clinical effects or human safety.

Research Context
The three constituents interact with distinct experimental targets rather than representing three versions of the same mechanism. GW-501516 is principally associated with PPARδ signaling; BAM-15 with mitochondrial proton conductance and oxidative phosphorylation; and SLU-PP-332 with ERR signaling. This makes the individual compounds relevant to different areas of cellular-energy and metabolic research.
