Finasteride vs Dutasteride Mechanism

Finasteride 👉Primarily inhibits 5-alpha reductase Type II, which reduces DHT significantly in the bloodstream.

Finasteride ❌ DOES NOT strongly inhibit Type I 5-alpha reductase. 👉But it still works well and is oftentimes sufficient.
